Before founding the Bauhaus, Walter Gropius designed the Fagus Werk in Alfeld. The striking open window fronts, going around corners of the building as well, were there at the starting point of Bauhaus architecture. Now you can do this in your Duplo buildings, as well, and recreate the amazing glass front of the Bauhaus Dessau building or make your own original Duplo Bauhaus architecture.
Bauhaus and Lego/Duplo is the perfect marriage. That much is obvious. I was missing a few characteristic design elements to create proper Bauhaus Duplo buildings so I started designing and printing them.
I will try to get as many objects ready as I can for the #Bauhaus100 anniversary in 2019. I will try to implement central Bauhaus design elements while not compromising on Duplo functionality and universality.
I will try to add Lego versions of all objects as well. I am not as focused on this, though, so it might take some time. All objects will be created in OpenSCAD and the scripts will be included so you can make your own variants and modifications.
