Several variants of the Viper mk VII from Battlestar Galactica.
Block 42: standard version of the Viper mk7 used throughout the fleet. Mostly upgraded from earlier versions.
Block 50: updated engines and avionics. Largely planetary based with enlarged intakes to improve engine efficiency in atmospheric flight.
Block 70: ultimate version of the mk7. Larger and heavier than previous versions, the blk70 has the improvements from the blk50 and also includes heavier armour and two small weapons bays for either anti ship or anti dradis weapons.
In reality the block 50 was my first attempt at getting a mk7 to print and be sturdy enough to paint/use. The block 70 was my idea for an update to the original design. Neither did much to add any detail to the original model so I’ve recently went back and done so, the block 42 was the result.
