I designed this thing to mount a voltmeter / battery capacity indicator on any type of electric vehicle. Here is a link to the voltmeter I used: http://www.ebay.com/itm/LCD-12V-24V-36V-48V-Lead-Acid-Battery-Status-Voltmeter-Monitor-Meter-Car-BI728/371980203434?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 This uses 1/4" bolts (roughly 1/2" long depending on mounting thickness) with square captured nuts for a clean mounting, with no visible hardware. 6mm bolts and hex nuts should also work just fine. The bottom of the case simply glues in place. Also included a template for drilling the mounting holes.
