This is a tray for keeping spare digital camera batteries organised in a drawer so they're easy to find and don't rattle about, possilby short-circuiting. It suits the older style NP-W126 battery as well as the newer NP-W235 battery from the X-H and X-T4/5 cameras.
When packing a camera bag for a trip, you can take the whole tray out and pick out the batteries you need, or just grab one of the batteries from the tray and go.
Note, for the W235 battery, the battery goes into the holder at the top of the slope, with the recessed side towards the boss at the bottom and then let it slide down to sit firmly in place. Pull it back up the slope to get the battery out again.
