Well, after 2 batteries went pole-to-pole and managed to short, causing spectacular amounts of sparking and smoke, I decided to put some covers over the terminals - kind of like shutting the barn door after all the animals leave, but whatever. One terminal turned into slag, but both batteries seem to still work (time will tell).
These fit over my motorcycle-style battery terminals.
I've provided left & right sides with cutouts on opposite sides.
Disclosure: Full disclosure: Gearbest gave me the Creailty CR-10 that I printed this with, so I feel sort of obligated to put it through it's paces.
WARNING: These covers are not intended to insulate or protect. Most plastics are flammable, and mine aren't rated as insulators, so these should'n't be depended upon for anything safety-wise whatsoever. Use at your own risk.
