Summary

This is a cordless LED table lamp that holds an 18650 Li-Ion cell in its base. There is an M8 threaded rod in the core of the post. This gives the lamp the necessary weight and stability and at the same time holds the housing together.

The lamp is switched on and off using the switch in the base. I connected the small slide switch on the head so that the lamp can be set to two brightness levels. You can therefore take it with you to the bathroom at night, for example, without being too blinded.

The spacer blocks in the base, which can be seen in the photos, are no longer necessary as I have now modeled the lower part a little higher.

The Li-Ion cell is connected to a TP4054 USB-C charge controller. This can be used to recharge the cell when it is empty. It also protects the cell from deep discharging and the resulting death of the battery.

I have printed the lamp in ABS. PLA should work just as well.
