I don't like leaving batteries installed in my tools. While I was working out in the garage, I noticed my battery "pile" was getting a little unruly and was worried about them shorting out while they were all just dumped in the drawer.
Currently the batteries are in a Rubbermaid drawer tray (11.875 x 15 x 2.5) I had purchased a while back on Amazon. (Amazon : https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00006IA5D)
I created this battery tray to have them neat and organized while stored. It's contoured to fit in one of the smaller sections of the tray.
