Summary

USB or LED Powered Battery Replacement.
Works with efficient USB Power Supplies as Replacement for 2 AA Cells. If there is need for more Cells you need to add my AddOn Cell – connected to the “+ out” on the PCB - and switch from USB Power to a LED power Supply (Up to about 7 Cells - 10,5 V)

For Voltage control I use a very cheap step-down-circuit:

The Voltage need to be adjusted to about 1,5 V per Battery Cell to be replaced with a small screw and a multimeter as shown on one of my pictures.
As positive pole I'm trim the head to about 6 mm of a thumbtack.
For the minus I use a piece of a brass fastener.
As USB Plug, this one may work: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B08DNVXP87/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1638&creative=6742&creativeASIN=B08DNVXP87&linkCode=as2&tag=eisenfliege-21&linkId=0175fec8c9103515d6a9f0cec125a55e
Red cable needs to be connected to the "+" at the "in" side of the PCB. Black to the "-".

For powering of more than 2 Cells I use this this one: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B08DNVXP87/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1638&creative=6742&creativeASIN=B08DNVXP87&linkCode=as2&tag=eisenfliege-21&linkId=0175fec8c9103515d6a9f0cec125a55e
But please keep in mind that this power supply is working with high voltage and install it only if you have the right knowledge for working with electrical power!
