Deep inside a small spring is held in place by a long tinned end of the +ve lead. Two AG13 batteries then sit +ve down. A small torus of paper helps insulation and the -ve lead holds it all together.
It could be used on anything requiring a little power or light.
Hot glue to the back of the skull tucks it away nicely.
