The file 'Bat Bunker 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 855.5KB.
Bat Bunker is a 3D printable bat house designed by Whitefield Academy FIRST LEGO League Robotics Team #6128 (Team Blackout) to allow anyone with a 3D printer to create a bat habitat.
The interior and bottom plate include a voronio pattern allowing bats to easily climb in and roost. The opening on the bottom plate is wide enough for a bat to enter but small enough to keep predators out.
Printed in three parts - top, middle, and bottom. Print multiple middles to create a bat house as tall as you want.
From batcon.org...
All bat houses should be mounted at least 10 feet above ground, and 12 to 20 feet is better. Choose a sunny location on the East or South facing side of your house. Bat houses work best with at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight (if only partial day sun is available- morning sun is preferable).
The team would like to thank the guys at 3Space (http://3space.us/) in Louisville, KY for their guidance in designing the bat house!
