I love those little bats flying around on an summers eve. And I always remember the lines: "... the last thing I see is my heart, still beating, breaking out of my body and flying away, like a bat out of hell ..."
Mine would be a nice one - not an evil looking bat - and so I thought a bat-brooche might look good and I designed and sculpted one in Blender.
One picture shows a blender render, the next one a real thing, which is the first cast made with pewter. Another one made in bronze will follow (I will update the pictures).
UPDATE: Pictures of the bronze casting added. I soldered a pin, so I can wear it now.
This is a thicker version, that I made for easier sand-casting.
