I improved these budget lights from Banggood with a set of barn doors. Since this is a clip-on, you can also fit DIY made gels between the light panel and the edge of the printout.

Print 3 parts no support, holes made for 1.8mm to accommodate the filament, I used a 2mm wire for the hinge after pre-drilling holes a little bit.
If the barn door hinge has little friction, use superglue and wiggle the wing until the glue sets, it will add extra friction without glueing the wings to the hinge.
