The file 'Barn Door Anti-Slam Catch Replacement 3D Printer Model' is (stl,chitubox,FCStd) file type, size is 6.0MB.
Anti-slam catch on interior barn door snapped because... someone slammed it too hard. Naturally I spent more hours than it was worth reverse modeling the broken part and printing a replacement instead of buying a new mount for the door.
This part is probably too small and tight-tolerance for a FDM printer. I printed it in resin using Phrozen Onyx Impact. It's holding up for now. My first design is a little off visibly but still functional with some filing on flat, easily accessed areas.
Included are the V1 FreeCAD file, the V1 stl unsupported, and the V1 with supports for Chitubox. I just used autosupports plus some extras because Onyx resin is very flexible before final curing. It will pull away from the supports under hot water (between isoprop bath and final cure), but you will have to do some cleanup with a file. The V2 FreeCAD design is included but will still require sanding or filing.
