It does not take long for the original cover to break if you plug a programming cable in a few times and then the radio becomes pretty uncomfortable to hold
This cover fills that void and has tapered edges to be comfortable to hold the radio, print it with the inside of the cover facing up, support is not needed for the tapered edges.
It is intentionally a snug fit in the oblong area where the ports are, this fits securely.
