I found a product like this from a small business a few years ago when I wasn't interested in radios. Now that I am using mine, I wanted to try the great idea I saw back then. After days of searching for the company, I decided to give up and create my own. If anyone knows of this company, please let me know. I want to purchase one since he gave me the idea!
This should work with any radio that is 24mm from center to center of the screw holes. I made the ring to fit my LiteWire carabiner from Black Diamond, but it will also fit most carabiners you might want to use. I printed in TPU to allow a hold on the carabiner that does not let it move around on its own but easily moves intentionally.
I learned some radios have shorter screws than mine, so I added a thin base version that should be okay to use, although I am not able to test it.
This is great for clipping to a backpack, belt loop, or anything a carabiner can attach to. I clip mine to my backpack while hiking or somewhere out of the way when stationary.
