The main idea was just being able to chuck the HT into whatever battle rattle that I happen to be hanging out with and, of course, a bit of protection for the occasional butter fingers episode.
I've printed the design about 5 times so far at different densities and found that about an 80% infill density using a "cross" pattern is what I prefer and what "feels" like it would absorb some decent shocks....
But no guarantees..., as I haven't been throwing my HT around in a case just to see if it breaks :)
I am however, still trying to master the settings for TPU on my machine so hopefully someone who can print TPU well will post a make so that we can see one made with a better finish than the picture(s) I've posted.
I printed with the case laying on it's back and used support blockers for the side holes leaving the supports for the inside of the case, and as well, the antenna and volume knob holes alone to save some print time.
