BAMBOO ZEN VASE
A Zen-style, decorative flower vase. The vase is built from two objects:
Simply print one (or more) bamboo rods and put them into the vase(s). The bamboo rod can hold a flower or anything decorative.
PRINT SETTINGS:
The bamboo rod can be printed without any infill at all if you don't care about the inner bottom plate of the rod (which is not visible on the finished part). If you'd like a properly printed bottom plate inside the rod, you'll need to use some infill though (8-10% should be fine).
The vases can be printed without any supports, but the inner curve on the top of the vase is a bit difficult to print. Some loose and hanging strands may appear there when no supports are used.
If you prefer a perfect and tidy print, you should place some supports in the center of the vase. I included a support mesh that can be used with Cura and also tutorial pictures that show how to use this support mesh.
POST PRINTING:
Use some spray effect paint to achieve different looks, for example chrome effect, metal effect or granite effect spray.
