These shoot very well with just a standard balloon :-)
After printing a few of these for my kids to use, we found that the original was a bit too prone to breaking.
Both the Mk2 and the Mk3 have much beefier walls and lids so you can carry ammo inside them (once you've attached the balloon of course).
I fixed the lid on the Mk2 (orange balloon) so it now screws on clockwise :-) Lid design is slightly different than in the pics.
The Mk3 (blue balloon) is longer and easier for bigger hands to hold.
I ran out of clear PETG and had to print the lids in Red :-)
Use a standard round party balloon - cut the neck off with scissors just as it widens into the main part. Take the larger part and stretch it over the non-threaded end, making sure you get it in the groove. You can secure it with a rubber band or a zip tie.
