This 3D model produces a OO/HO scale ballast spreader. This is one of three designs of ballast spreader we have made available. This version is an updated version of the narrow ballast spreader, it evenly disperses the ballast and is used by making a forward/backward motion as you move along the track.
Note: This version of the ballast spreader was updated to produce a faster flow of ballast by increasing the size of the nozzles/slits that disperse the ballast. It works very well for both curved and straight track. The narrow / tall design enables a better dispersal (never too much) ballast on the track.
