While the very popular version by MasterFX works well, I found it had a few issues;
far too high tolerances on the joint, allowing sideways movement of the clip,
a not overly positive locking action,
a lack of chamfers, making the print sharp and increasing issues with elephant's foot,
the clip does not close perfectly parallel to itself.
I recreated the clip in CATIA and made a few improvements.
The .CATPart file is for R19+, and is mostly parametric, meaning length, printing angle and maximum opening angle can be modified.
Naming of the sample files:
clip_xxxmm_yyy.stl,
where xxx is the length of the usable surface in mm,
and yyy is the maximum opening angle of the printed clip.
