The file 'Bacteriophage T4 3D Printer Model' is (scad, stl) file type, size is 918.6KB.
I was inspired by T2 Bacteriophage by 1radboy. I had trouble printing his design because it had rounded legs, so I made my own version in OpenSCAD. (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:336609)
It also uses the Icosahedron OpenSCAD code from Adam Anderson (blepfo) (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1343285)
You can customize the number of legs, and the leg diameter in Customizer.
I've printed in at both 100% and 150% size in PLA without supports with .25 and .2 layer height respectively. Watching the legs print was stressful, but they did stick and print. Avoid printing it with smaller layer heights because that may lead to PLA curling.
On the Ender 3 I'm able to print it by enabling z-hop at a super-tiny 50% size!
Bed Adhesion: I've had success using the ender build plate, and blue painter's tape. If you have trouble with a leg not sticking, you can either use a brim or enable z-hop.
