This is a gaming guitar we @ CNCRouterParts.com put together for the 2015 Portland Mini Maker Faire for our Frets-on-Fire jam sessions.
The body was cut out of MDF (though basswood would be a better choice) using a CNC Router Parts Benchtop PRO and a 1/4" flat endmill for most of it (1/8 v-groove bit for the front body accent line).
The electronics are a basic PIC microchip keyboard controller with inputs from 5 industrial limit switches and a small micro-lever for the stroke button.
