With the Vorlon sanctions on the Earth Alliance, and a free hand with Earth Force, Santiago being EA and Clark being EF. The Rangers report to the Grey Council that the Streib have begun attacking the Merchant Vessels in the Shipping lanes moving closer to Babylon 5. If you’re not familiar with the Streib, they are an aggressive, scientific scouting slave race of the Shadows. That utilize stealth to avoid detection from Hyperspace Beacons and Jump out of Hyperspace and, disable alien ships to the point to where the crew or passengers eject in life pods for retrieval abducting them for study. Specifically to determine which Race is better suited for invasion. It’s an awful way of scouting for invasion. This time around, its not Sheridan their after, its Sinclair. Since Babylon 5 is part of the Earth Alliance they are tasked with delivering these ships to the League of Non Aligned Worlds for defense.
Long story short, these Dilgar War veterans in deep in “Moth Balls” are cheaply retrofitted for decent enough surplus weaponry and sent down the line to the L.O.N.W. Consider it a cheap and easy way of trying to look good to the Vorlons. So here it is, the Orion Class Monitor Refit. It has many nice things.
