Now it’s the Hyperion’s time to follow suit with the Alternate Omega. This is putting the Nautical terms verbiage back into the term Cruiser. Which is a pretty fun term to talk about. But I’ve already done that so… Here she is. Stream lined and updated, true Cruiser territory fire power, Rotational Crew Habitat and substantial armament, Flight operation’s capabilities, the lot. You’ll see a C.T.C. Placed Midship’s facing the Engines, this is for fighter wing support operations. You’ll see Starfury recovery hangers to support that operational intent, and for the first time, a forward hanger. This design takes the Cruiser from a second rate ship of the line, to a first rate ship of the line. Her clean cut approach stays within the timeless architecture thats well proven over the series timeline. My hope is that this model provides the Cruiser that everyone may have always secretly wanted. Fast, light, multipurpose and anti Capital Ship, as well as lone scout capability brings this ship into the terms role further. It’s an Earth Force good move for an ever changing landscape.
