Chronologically proceeding; I have created yet another model. Surprise, surprise...
Named after the Greek God of silence and secrets, "Harpocrates" we have on our hands a continuation of the Babylon 5 alternative story arch I've been toying with. Its very apparent to the keen eye what's happened here. A Hyperion Cruiser has been remixed, reimagined to utilize the Janus Light Ship technology. In order to tell the whole story here, I've decided to take you back in the story line to 3 previous models, in which the links and associated storylines are below.

At present, I would say, the Babylon Prime would be now completed. (The alternate to Babylon 1-5) The Station would be hosting all the usual suspects, but not the Vorlons just yet. I wonder why that could be? Lets say, the Minbari force the hand of disclosure in order to fully understand their now former adversary's true power and strength to further push along a full peace treaty and exit armistice. Lets bare in mind, there is a Minbari Vorlon connection. Earth wants the Vorlon's, so does the Minbari, but the Vorlon's more than likely would not entertain a dishonest partnership. So the talks go on and the capabilities and tactics unravels with every class and mission now on the table until we reach a choke point. A simple question, which class of Ship, Station or Network allowed for so many sneak attacks to be carried out with a species (Human's) being so much younger in technology? Lets imagine a link emergency broadcast of an Alert of a Vessel of unknown configuration approaching the Station. A Vorlon Heavy Cruiser. The shear intensity of the moment reaches a crest with the Vorlon Cruiser being Identified by the Minbari Delegation and the Vorlon Cruiser targeting the Station. With Starfury's launching, a general order to take cover and a stand off of the Stations defences looming, the Human Delegation reveals its most deadly secret, The Helios Station leading to the covert Hyperspace Beacon and Janus Light Ship projects. The ultimate Hyperspace domination and sneak attack ambition. With all revealed, an uneasy peace breaks the silence as the Vorlon Cruiser stands down.

The Minbari offer a secret for their secret. The expedition found by Earth Force was on a covert mission of their own. A deep space exploration to detect the movement of the Shadows for the next proficized war. With both sides no longer able to fight at such capacity even partnered, there is a substantial threat. The Minbari choose the a dozen Hyperion Cruiser's to be modified in order to search for the Shadow threat without giving out the Star maps of the Shadow's locations. Well, as one can imagine, the tables just turned and it would be hard for Earth Force to say no. I mean, the Vorlon Cruiser would still be out there.

So here we have it, a Cruiser modified heavily for Hyperspace only exploration to covertly search for the Shadows utilizing the Janus Light Ship Technology. The ship has been elongated to accommodate the technologies foot print inside of the smaller star-frame. Instead of your traditional Nova escape pods or missile tubes, the outer Midships launch tubes both Starboard and Port would be equipped with detection beacons to be deployed in grids through out Hyperspace. The same type of standard guns would be allowed only, to reinforce the missions intent, find and run for it. Track through Network. The armorment has been increased, and who can argue that and 2 atmospheric shuttles added to help sustain any deployment circumstances or Planetary decisions as necessary. 20 Starfury Bays, over the traditional 8. Its a dangerous proposition, no life pods, no coverage to leak, no mention to the press, just as before, but a very ancient dangerous race to find with the clock running out. The conversion to re-commission would take place at the same Janus Class Dock Yards with the experienced crew. The ships would be delivered to a Waypoint Station, along with other battalion ships from separated battalions and the last remaining Janus Light Ship and crew would await to train and then battle excersize the Hyperion Cruiser Refit to its new denatured and inexorable prowess.
