Plot twist time! Why else make such a uniquely ugly model thats too cool for school? That’s right, the “intelligence?” Community at E.F.N.I. (Earth Force Naval Intelligence) gets news from Helios that the Vorlons and Minbari are working together on a co-op build of what looks like to be a very maneuverable, fighter like Frigate. It’s purple and grey and does acrobatics around just about everything. Well, after some stumped, hollow, and morphing facial expressions it was about time they changed their pants and started screaming at people over tv screen’s… How typical…

As karma for an as#hole would have it, yep the era of the gigantic Capitol Ships were starting to unravel right in front of their eyes as the New Omega’s were fully combat tested and ready. Theres some humble pie. No this isn’t Earth Forces attempt at downsizing, modernizing and collaborating with others and it couldn’t possibly be something designed to bring what’s to be known as “Sheridan’s Forces”, The Whitestar. Or is it?

Long story short, word gets back to Clark, and Morden asks him what do you want, and he replies to STFU. Even the psychopath knows its time for a change.

Well with all the shouting on the tv screens everywhere somebody, anybody had to do something… So here it is, its something!

Just kidding, it’s a mostly autonomous Ship that has one main objective. Transport Hermes Starfury’s, presumably the most angry ones to the targets destination. Because lets face it, at Earth Force at this time in the time line, its been go big or go home with ships, Fighters and smaller craft though seem to be the only thing that could bring down one of these things presumably. I’ve remixed plenty of those.

So check it out, there’s a reloading hanger upfront, with a habitat area, and just nothing more than launch bays both fore and aft facing in the back. So yes, this thing can’t do the acrobatics but it can take the acrobats out to the target. It’s a solution. It’s all about reloading and launching. It has the capability size wise to house 4 squadrons, 24 Starfury’s on Standby and plenty of room logistically in its 4 axis’s corridors or central corridor to hold more or combinations of smaller craft. Ideally munitions would be stored between each circular outer launch bay and supplies for the pilots down the main corridor. It has some defensive capabilities, but only enough to sustain light engagements because of size. (Its a technology thing) It’s autonomous; it’s crewed with pilots and sent commands straight from Earth Force. Its the epitome of get the job done and don’t ask to many questions.

It was crazy to design, but, take your time with the print. I’d split the aft launch bays in half and lay them flat on your print bed, and half horizontally split the main corridor down the middle.

Hey I know I like to kick around Earth Force a bit and have some fun, but hey, it’s all about the fun right? Honestly I thought this concept was a road to nowhere at first, till I remembered the Missile Barge I did earlier this year and then, had that aha moment. So here it is, a Multi-purpose Fighter Transport. Shoot, I have to pick a Greek God name for it, let me go check on Google… Ok so Helios in Greek mythology was to be driving a golden chariot with 4 horses. One of which names Aeos (“He of the dawn”) Sounds fitting just right to me. New dawn on ship design, dawn of the Shadow War. In this model bio, the Helios Revival project’s Stations started this whole thing, so yes! And there’s 3 other Horses to name other Ship Classes after.

Oh, yes, sorry Boeing for having a bad opinion on your recent opinions, and ironically, check out the Lockheed CL-1201. That’s where the idea for this thing came from.
