Trying to make a custom build without chopping up my c10 body. that being said I have an axial scx24 crawler that I'm customizing. I do NOT claim ownership of the build, I dowloaded everything separately and edited it all to fit my needs. I printed most of it at 20% with tree supports. I printed the last version of the cab with normal grid supports, it took a long time to remove the supports but it came out good. It was a pain but the cab front post mounts are actually right on the money. Lastly, Tinkered was the editing software that I used along with Ultimaker Cura.
I’m also working on a flatbed that shares the same cab and I printed it out on standard quality with normal supports and it came out really good. The supports were a pain to remove but worth the looks, you can tell in the pictures I posted my impatience got the best of me and I printed with low quality to try and save time.
Correction to the stl files as Dougiefresh606 has pointed out, they’re off of a dodge build not a Chevy
Updated on 7-15-22
The new uploads "crawler cab and crawler cage" are narrower and lower profile so its not as top heavy. For the rear mount I used magnets in the tray I uploaded and used a piece of a secrets tin that I cut and hot glued to the cage. After that I bent the sides down on the tin so it would cradle the magnet mount to prevent it from sliding side to side.
