Modification of an interesting and relatively cheap toy - Hexbug Spider XL. In general, top of the robot is changed for 3D printed version. Two motors of this toy are operated by Arduino Uno with Motor Shield. 9V battery is used to power all electronic components of the spider. The holder of the battery contains the sockets where you can attach up to 10 proximity sensors.

This is only the first version of the Autonomous Hexbug Spider and it is not optimal in terms of space requirements and used plastic.
