Summary

Hey there,
I've made an fish feeding automat for my nano cube 30l. I'm feeding flak food, tablets and sticks for my shrimps and fishs. It is in use since 3 years and still works perfect.

The feeder with 16 divisions can be filled individual. It is supplied through the arduino 5V micro USB. Every day when the time switch turns on the arduino is supplied and the feeder move 1 division forward. I use the same time switch, which although turns on my lights in the morning.
For the Top of the Feeder there are two variants. The flat one give you the posibility to clue some funny figures on the top.

For the fish feeding automat you will need these things

  • arduino nano
  • Step Motor 5V 28BYJ-48 with driver board (41mm x 22mm, same like in the pictures!)
  • 2 x Screw 3*7mm (no clue needed for assembling the feeder)

The mounting is designed for my aquarium with an glass edge of 4mm thickness. The two parts have to be clued together, so it can be used for thicker or thinner edges too.

PRINTING:
If you want the feeder like in the picture (left side of aquarium and cable to the rear) you can print these parts just normal!
If you want it on the right side, you have to MIRROR the fishfeeder_part1 and mounting part 2!

SOLDERING:
Sold the wires direct on the arduino. Don't use pins, because then it would be to hight to fit in!
