I wanted an iris that I could control with an arduino or a raspberry for a project. I haven't found anything to my liking but I had downloaded this iris for fun a while ago and knew it was a good quality one.
So I've decided to remix it to include a support plate for a standard 120mm computer case fan and a rack to be able to turn it with any kind a motor.
I'm aware the rack on the rotor is way too long so most teeth aren't doing anything, but I just didn't want to bother to find the exact travel length of the rotor so.. sorry for the few milligrams of wasted filament. But it looks good !
I'm putting back the original leaves and pins here, but all credits goes to jbergmans for this wonderful iris !
All the instructions to put it together are on the original page, go check it out and give him some love !
