Summary

UPDATE: 02/13/19:
ABKC_LP2 was added. It gives a little more room for the key to come down in case you are having trouble with the cover interfering with the key being able to enter the lock fully. I did not have trouble with the original, but it occurred to me that the edge of the key cover is right on the edge where the key seats when it is fully inserted in the lock...

Depending on your layer width when slicing you may see more or less of the feature that retains the key (bottom part of circle cut out).

Used MrSnoWie's awesome Autobot design to make a cover for my house key.

There is a thick version and a low profile version - you can tell which from the file name.
I will give the thick version to friends since they won't have it on their key chain and they'll be able to tell easily whose house it belongs to :)

Print 2 of these face down, no supports, with no top layer.
Put your key in, take some hot glue, and sandwich your key between two.
There is a hole in the head for the key ring, don't block that with the glue.

Suggestions welcome, enjoy!

BTW changed the locks and didn't throw away the key... that key in the pic has no matching lock ;)
