This is an auto-rewind spool holder that automatically rewinds the spool on filament changes. It replaces the filament buffer completely!
When the filament is dragged into the printer, a weight is lifted. When MMU unloads the filament, gravity does the job to rewind the spool.
Check the video on youtube to see the rewind process or this video on youtube that shows the "clicking" when the arm is on top during print.
All you need is to print the parts and add the bearings that you will have left over from the original MMU spool holders.
You will need some screws to assemble the base to the stands, but any length from M3x14 to M3x40 will do the job. That's it!
All the parts print in about 8,5 hours and don't need any supports. Pretty easy, right?
