Opel Astra J has a big issue when it comes for adding a phone stand since the blades of the airducts are vertical and cannot keep a good position. The pin is 6mm in diameter.

This design is using the edge of the multimedia area and is offering a generic pin which can be used as you need. In my case I've used a generic/cheap magnetic holder resulting in a very small and nice phone stand.
