Summary

Ball Dispenser & Press tool can be found on my Gumroads Store, pay what you think it's worth!

I created a set of tools to make it easier to insert magnets into the Magnetic Base Systems for Axolote Hex Tiles. These tools allow for very quick assembly of the bases, dispensing and pressing 3mm Ball magnets into the bottom of the bases and a 5x2mm magnet into the top. Upwards of 300 bases are need to make a full set.

I posted the 5x2mm magnet assy tool and a simplified version of the ball template holder here. The ball template should be mounted onto the top of a hex base with the magnets already installed. This will hold the balls in place for pressing. For even faster assembly the ball dispenser and press tool takes this to the next level.

The 5x2 base magnet insertion tool uses an embedded magnet to make sure all of the bases have the magnet polarity the same. The embedded magent also aligned the magnet being pressed into the base so magnet and base line up perfectly.
