The file 'Articulating Belt 3D Printer Model' is (STL,stl) file type, size is 459.2KB.
This is a fully articulating belt I designed in SolidWorks for a Hawks (My Hero Academia) cosplay, but this belt may also be adapted as a Batman belt or for any similar costume.
The belt is assembled from individual links which I printed separately and then snapped together with a small amount of force. Each link adds an effective length of 30cm to the belt and the buckle adds 40cm. The plain, flex, and H links are able to fit through standard belt loops on jeans but the attachment links and buckle will need wider loops if you plane to wear it that way.
All the files are unsupported. 5 files in total: plane link, flex link, attachment link, H link and buckle.
There are five different types of links: plain link, flex link which are deformable for in case you don't want to risk breaking any links when snapping them together, attachment link which I designed so that I could attach some pouches to the belt more easily, and H links which are two links that when joined together make and H.
The buckle is made up of two parts which may be connected to the other links in the same way and snapped together to close the belt.
I printed all links in PLA on a Prusa MK3 with default settings in Cura Slicer and the belt moves and holds together well as long as your not doing parkour.
