Mount clips on to a horizontal car vent (see pic. without phone)
Just put your phone in and take it out, the mount grabs on and lets go via its pivot arms working with gravity.
I've tested the mount with phones sized from 2.5"x5" (iPhone 5) to 3.4"x6.4" (Nexus 6 in case) and in between.
Prints in 3 parts which snap together. Supports are required and a little filing might be good to remove the burrs and snap the parts together. See pics for printing orientation and assembly.
Mostly original design but I did pilfer the clip from retur's https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:895185, since it worked well (but I didn't like the rubber band part of his design.)
Intentionally minimal to print relatively quick. I used 30% infill and PLA+, will see how long it lasts in the sun.
