A flexible and sizeable model of a snake, based on the priniciple of the Cardan junction (2-axis rotation of each junction).
Shape memory is achieved by galvanized steel wire inserted through the structure.
Can be used as a desktop decoration plaything, or as a toy for kids (though the wires and small junction parts can be dangerous for small kids, beware).
Optionally, it could be worn around the wrist or neck, though that is very geekish :-)
