Summary

Update 9-28-22: printed the disk version and almost all of the joints printed with no issues. Still have four fused. Added a larger version to use the entire bed of my new format printer (300x300). That turned out to be a 170% upscale of the model. I will see how well this works, Cura says its a 21-hour print.

Update 9-27-22: using hand alignment had several joints fussed because the center of the STL models were different. So I modified them to add a non-printable disk below them that keeps them the same. So now if you align them both to 0,0,0 they match up
The tolerance is tight so you need to have the two head aligned to print. if not several joint will be fused due to overlap

I just got a new IDEX printer and wanted to try out an idea I saw on a posting, print a two-color Articulated dragon. I brought the model into Fusion 360 and did a separate mesh models. which worked fine then it showed all the models had mesh errors. I fixed that and then regrouped them into the alternating models that I could assign different colors. The model is printing as i post this. I did have to adjust the models to insure the meshed correctly in the slicer because for some reason the center point of the are not aligned exactly
