This is an insert for the Aridus Quick Detach Carrier. I tried to make it look as close to the original, just for fun. They will rattle a bit (but the original does as well), I tried to remove the play, but I was unable to remove the carriers when I did that.
The retention method is a nub that's in the inside of the shell holders. It's worked well on plastic shells, but if you're using something like brass shells, I could see potential issues (I dont have any brass shells to try it on).
