The file 'Ares No Support 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 34.9MB.
Do you hate support and the scars removing it leaves on a beautiful model? Do you wish to print the handsome Ares scan taller than your printer allows? I cut the model into three pieces so you can print them perfectly without support and make it taller than your printer allows. The model is scale down to 27% (no detail is lost in downscaling).
Print in original orientation and you won't need support. The only (important) place that has extreme overhang is behind Ares' ears, but it's not too bad, and in fact you could also use a little bit of support there. But I was able to print the model without support and get very good result. Sand the glue surface a little bit, and glue with E6000 easily. (Superglue is dangerous because it bonds too quickly for fine alignment adjustments.)
Possibly due to shrinkage, the bottom of the head piece is slightly smaller than the top of the chest piece. But overall it worked very well. Without support, the face and Mohawk are scar-free.
