I wanted to get a 9.5" handguard for my Arcturus Karambit, but I did not find anything to my liking, so I made this.
I took a lot of inspiration from the actual Honey Badger handguard and with a lot of trial and error, I got it to fit well and look good. It uses the retaining bolts and caps from the original handguard, and has very little give once screwed in.
I printed a few prototypes, most in PLA-CF and one in PETG-CF because they looked the best. As for the strength of the handguards, theyre solid enough, and should be able to withstand a stray BB from an angle. The handguard WILL shatter if shot up at extremely close range. I will print the handguard out of PA12-CF when I get the chance and test the durability then.
I may make a 5" version too at some point, or another length if anyone would be interested.
