Summary

🎮 Arcade Joystick Fun - 6 Buttons of Pure Nostalgia + 2 Extra! 🎮

For my 50th birthday (I'm from 1974), my dearest friends gave me a Sanwa Kit with a joystick and 8 buttons (JLF-TP-8YT). I thought the best way to honor their gift was by building my own arcade joystick with my beloved Anet A8. There are several arcade stick models on Thingiverse, but none completely convinced me, especially since I couldn't find one that could be printed in a single piece on my Anet A8's print bed, which is about 22x22 cm. So, I designed my own, and here it is. Hope you like it.

Main Features:

6 Main Buttons: Perfect for all your combos and special attacks.

2 Extra Function Buttons: For that additional versatility (or a well-deserved pause!).

Why You'll Love It:

Retro Design: A return to the golden age of gaming.

Easy to Print: Even for those new to 3D printing.

Customizable: Choose your colors, add your logo, and let your unique style shine!

Printing Conditions:

The model design was done using Siemens Solid Edge "Community Edition." It's a great, intuitive software full of documentation and tutorials to get you started.

My model was printed with an Anet A8 printer and Sunlu PLA Meta material.

25% infill without supports, which are not necessary.

Printing temperature: 200 degrees Celsius.

Tested Compatibility:

I've tested the stick on a Raspberry Pi 3b+ with RetroPie, and it works perfectly.

Support the Project:

If you enjoyed this project and would like to buy me a coffee, you can do so through my PayPal link. In return, I'll send you the source file so you can modify the design to your liking.
