This Arca Swiss plate was made to not block the battery door. This way you can change the battery or remove the SD card while it's on the tripod. The slot is very wide and can you can move the screw from one end to the other.
Will fit most AS type of tripod heads. Works great on most Panasonic cameras that I own like the Lumix GF7 and SZ50.
