The file 'Aquila S2 Fan Shroud “Sonic” Remix 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 132.5KB.
I liked the idea of the original shroud. But I made a few changes. Actually I reprinted it 12 times before I got it to be right. (I hope)
I added a couple of 5mm 24v LED's.
I directed the fan for the heat break to be more concentrated on the heat break.
I made the ABL mount to fit a CR Touch. I don't know if it works any better than the others but I think it looks better.
I cut out where I could to save weight but I made the angles so that you don't need supports for them.
I took out the holes for mounting the fans. I just drill small holes and let the screw self tap into the plastic. Works fine just don't over tighten the screws. I used M2 screws for the side fans and m3 screws for the front fan. To mount the CR Touch you could add some brass inserts but I just let the screws self tap into the bracket and it holds just fine.
I changed the part cooling fan defector to be less restrictive
I made a fan guard for the front fan and you can change the decoration very easy to be what you like.
I think the original was a very good design for a printer that seems to be an oddball in the printer world but actually is a very nice printer. I hope you like the improvements that I made.
Happy Printing
