A couple of weeks ago, two fish managed to squeeze through the filter intake and take a trip through the water filter. I fixed that with a new intake for the filter http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1012465. But when I went to siphon out some water for a clean, the tubing I was using left me thinking another poor fish might not enjoy being siphoned out.
This intake filter fits 15mm tubing but could be scaled to effectively work from 1/2" to 1" or from 10mm to 25mm.
