DO NOT LEAVE BATTERIES ALONE WHEN USING THIS ADAPTER
This is a handy print to help create an adapter for APX6000 / APX7000 / APX8000 Impress 2 batteries. When fully assembled it can be used to jump start newer batteries that have been left uncharged for too long and are now flashing red in the charger.
Best to flip the print over in Cura or slicer so that the flat parts print on the print bed.
Attach 12ga solid core copper wire into the terminal holes and bed it across the top of the adapter box. Place solder wires onto the 12ga to lead to power supply. May require extra solder or padding to get the solid core wire to connect perfectly with battery terminals. Attach top piece using 4 M2 screws.
I generally set a power supply for around 8.4vdc, then connect the adapter on to the top of the battery and drop the battery onto the charger. You should see the current draw jump up to as high as 4 amps, keep this running for no longer than 1 to 2 minutes and always under supervision. If battery or adapter begin getting hot, immediately shut off the power and disconnect.
