The file 'Apple Pencil Pro Travel Case 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 391.6KB.
A magnitic case for the new 2024 Apple Pencil Pro model. This case will not work with previous Pencil generations due to Apple changing the magnet locations on the pencil to accommodate the Facetime camera location on the new 2024 M4 iPads.
You will need 5ea 8mmx2mm magnets.
The magnets are tight press fit and no glue should be needed. Not all 8mmx2mm magnets are equal, results may vary. I included a printable Magnet Setter to assist with hammering them in. No need for a big hammer here…go easy. You can use a soft punch to help set the magnets as well. Magnets are often brittle!
Make sure to CHECK MAGNET POLARITY before hammering them in. You can mark polarity with a perm marker if needed. The magnets must attract each other for this case to function correctly.
If you want the Apple Pencil Pro text, bring both the Pencil Top.STL and Top Text.STL into your slicer at the same time and load them as a single object.
