A set of 3D printed brackets used to mount the radiator to the graphics card pulled form the Aorus Gaming Box. Design also includes IO shield and slots to hold the 8 pin PCIE power connectors.
Bill of materials:
- .#6-32 UNC (>6 mm long) screw 4pcs (PC screw with "coarse" thread)
- M3x5 screw 3pcs (standard metric PC screw)
- M3x10 screw 2pcs (fixes the IO shield to the PCB of the graphics card)
- M3 brass heat insert 3pcs
- Set of original screws from the rear video ports of the Gaming Box
- Self tapping screws diameter ~2 mm (to hold the PCIE power connectors in place)
Assembly:
- Bend the tab of the IO_bracket 90° with the help of heat and an object with right angle corner
- Melt the heat inserts into the three blind holes of the front_bracket
- Swap the fans to the other side of the radiator as shown in the first photo (optional but recommended)
- Install the IO_bracket onto the radiator
- Carefully slot the GPU into the installed IO_bracket and secure it with screws
- Screw the front_bracket to the GPU using M3 PC screws
- Screw the installed front_bracket to the radiator
- Press the PCIE power connectors into the corresponding slots
- Secure them with PWR_cn_bracket and self tapping screws
- Install the GPU into your PC and don't forget to add some kind of support under the radiator!
