This is a car cup holder holder (try saying that 5 times real fast) for the Anytone AT-D878UV Plus. It's made to fit into the cup holder really snuggly, and the Anytone will fit inside it pretty snuggly. Snug enough to not rock about or fall out when braking or accelerating.
It has a slight tilt so you can see the screen comfortably and there's a cutout as well to enable full access to the keyboard. Works really well, at least in my case - as long as i don't change the position of the holder, i can operate it blindly, just by touch, pretty comfortably. Just, please, be smart and don't do that while driving.
The inside is mostly hollow to reduce material waste. It's designed to be printed without any support, as long as you have at least semi-decent bridging. I printed it in PLA, if you do too, please mind the edges and maybe sand them a bit so they're not too sharp and end up scratching your HT.
NOTE: this was designed to accomodate the "fat" 3100 mAh battery that comes with 878UV Plus
NOTE2: there's no provisioning for the belt clip - the HT just won't fit inside with it on. I might make a belt-clip compatible version later.
