I modified the original, which is very sturdy, as over time the PLA has warped a tiny amount the the hanger was pressing against the buildplate. It got so bad I had to re-level the buildplate.
This original is NOT my favorite design. You have to put the buildplate on this hanger first, then mount it on the z-axis arm as otherwise the buildplate would have to come through the back of the machine to mount. That said, it is very sturdy, and the small amount I shaved off will not impact strength at all.
The V2 option corrects the whole flip around thing so you can mount the hanger to the Z-axis, then you can put the plate on.
